Facebook Dominates Social Media

The Pew Research Center did a survey to find out what social media platforms people use and how much time they spend on those platforms. The numbers prove that social media is a winner takes all business and Mark Zuckerberg comes up top.

Vestact's recommended stock Facebook is crushing it with 2.6 billion daily users between its namesake social network, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger. However, Google's YouTube has the largest reach by far as the most widely used social media platform in the US.

A special mention to Reddit for seeing the largest user growth between 2019 and January 2021. Reddit has shown tremendous staying power from being a fringe social media business to the best community driven social site.
